CT I prepares students with the basic skills needed to continue in a construction trade field. Topics include types and uses for common hand and power tools, types and basic terminology associated with drawings, and basic safety. Also prepares students with framing skills along with interior and exterior finishing techniques.
CT II covers the basics of electricity including the National Electric Code, electrical safety, circuits, and residential electrical services. Students also gain an understanding of concrete properties, foundations, slab-on-grades, and vertical and horizontal formwork.
